the crisis
Without broadband, our rural communities face a devastating cycle:
Declining property values: homes sell for 3–7% less
Healthcare deserts: families drive 2+ hours for care
Educational disadvantage: students huddle outside fast food Wi-Fi
Talent exodus: young professionals leave
the opportunity
With high-speed connectivity, everything changes:
Economic vitality: connected homes rise 7+% in value
Healthcare access: telehealth reduces travel by 85%
Population growth: remote workers relocate, tax base strengthens
Educational equity: students compete on skills, not connectivity
